ANOTHER newbie!
Howdy from Idaho, folks.
I'm looking forward to reading and learning a lot! Max A topic for discussion: I carry Gold Dots because that's what the local agencies carry. I read a long time ago that what your local cops carry is most easily defended in court. What do you guys and gals think? If this has already been beaten into the earth, let me know and I'll just slink back into lurkdom! |

As far as carrying what your local LEOS's carry, I think it can be a good idea. But, in reality I think any factory personal defense ammo should be able to be defended in court pretty easily.

 Feel feel to comment and participate anywhere on the forum.  You can never go back to just lurking again.  Concerning your question. I also carry Gold Dot which happens to be what my local LEOs carry. I also carry it because it's excellent personal defense ammo and it feeds well in my carry guns. When carrying a semi-auto your first concern should be selecting a high quality ammunition brand that feeds and functions perfectly in your carry firearm.
