South Texas newb here

Hey all,

Name's Steve from San Antonio, TX. Have been a member on this forum for a little while, but have just lurked. Thought I'd speak up and introduce myself.
Been carrying daily for years. Have had my CHL since TX passed the law for it in '96. Like to shoot and ride my motorcycles if I'm not at work. Primary carry is a Walther P99 9MM in an IWB rig called a PagerPal.

Just wanted to say that you have a great forum with loads of really good info. Stay safe and shoot well.

Steve - welcome dude - share your ideas and experiences - we have a great collection of folks here. Welcome too as a fellow biker - a few of us here too.

I have an SW99 in 9mm (all but same as the Walther) and have occasionally carried that but usually it is my SIG 226 ST these days.

Us 9mm folks got to stick together ya know - them folks here is mostly 1911 sorta shooters. They seem to tolerate us tho!

Chris,

I'm one of those 1911 types too; spent years in the Army carrying them, but my Walther is quickly becoming one of my new favorites.
What kinda bike?

Here's one of mine- a '95 900RR.

My other one is an '81 XS1100 Midnight Special Yamaha. No pics of it on this laptop and I'm away from home.

Welcome Steve

Hey man, how you doing. One day I'd like to own either a Walther P99 or the SW version. Although I probably want mine in .40 S&W, or maybe .45 ACP.

Anyway, welcome. Nearly all of the members around are very friendly, and are more then happy to answer any questions that you might have.
