To start the application process you need to go to the County Clerk and purchase an application. All of your instructions will be in the packet.

I can't help much more than that. It's changed some since I got mine.
Thanks bud, I got the application already, just wondering if there were any tips to what type to apply for right off (targeting/hunting limited etc) and if it matters who i use as references.

Hunting, Target, and self defense

I have freinds that put down hunting and target. Their permits came back with the restiction of being for hunting and target. This is happening in some counties.

My son is applying now. He used freinds that were proffesionals or business owners. He had LEO freinds but they said he could no longer use them (like I said, it's changed since I got mine).

Best of luck
