Happy Easter from Norfolk, VA
I am an active duty Corpsman stationed on a ship here in Norfolk. After deploying all over this great world I have come to treasure what I have taken for granted all this time. As an American and as a woman.
I am from Maryland and although I love my home state I do not like the restrictions placed on me as a gun owner. As a domestic violence survivor I was told that I was unable to obtain a CCW permit because his repeated death threats were not a 'valid reason'. Thankfully he never carried through on his threats and I was able, after time, to close that chapter in my life. I am with a wonderful man for 5 years now who after hearing my story presented me with a Bersa 9mm for my birthday. I am going to city hall here in Norfolk tomorrow to apply for my CCW and I am pretty excited to leave the victim class once and for all.  |
