newbie
Hello all, looking to educate myself about firearms in general.
Have yet to purchase anything, I have my eye on a revolver at first. I've visited the local sporting goods store, they carry S&W. The fella there recommends a .357 magnum. That may be a bit much, but cheaper target rounds. Any advice? Concealed classes next month. Shooting range nearby. Anyone use laser grips? |

Welcome. Join right in.
S&W - Nice wheel guns. You can always shoot .38 Special in your .357 Mag revolver to start off with.

Welcome aboard..
Like QK said, you can always burn .38s in a .357. I personally like the caliber. And, it is hard to go wrong with a S&W. Here are a couple of recent laser grip threads to give you some info: Laser Max for S&W J frames Crimson Trace on a Snubbie? laser or not?
