For a 1st purchase, I would stay with a reputable dealer. That way you can always go back and ask questions, and you will then have (hopefully) someone you can trust and get good advice from.

Greetings and welcome from the FL east coast.
Don't be too worried about gun shows. I got my gun at a gun show, but I knew what I wanted and also had a good idea of the prices for the gun at the local dealers. The only real problem I've heard about a FL gun show is one in the West Palm Beach area, where guns were being sold at or beyond MSRP, by multiple dealers. -JT |
