A Big Texas Howdy from Dallas, welcome to the forum. And yes a purchas from your local GS is a great idea. The specials that are available, and the selection makes it all the better. You may ever want to stop by a local range either indoor or out and see if they don't rent guns to try before you buy. Good luck.

Thanks everyone! I went to the local gun show in Tampa today, and picked up a brand new in box Glock 27 for $480 with all the goodies.. They told me this was LEO pricing.. I believe this was a good deal. A local Tampa dealer sold me this gun, and they were/are more than willing to help with questions, etc... I suppose a cash in hand does get you a better price.. I will post pic's. in a few days w/ the Glock and the MTAC holster I have already..
