Noob from IL
Hello all. My name is Christian and as the title suggests, I'm from IL. Bloomington, IL to be exact. I'm 25, married, with a 1 yr old son. I'm currently employed by the State of IL, Dept of Military Affairs, but God willing, will be hired by the local PD here soon. As far as guns go, I own or have owned at one time a Springfield Armory XD 45 Service, Rock Island Armory 1911 GI, Beretta 92F(sold, now kicking myself), Remington 870 Police Model(sold, now kicking myself), Marlin 981T .22LR Bolt Action, and a Savage Arms .410 double barrel shotgun. On the wishlist are a Beretta 92, some sort of pump 12 gauge (Remington 870, Mossberg 500, etc), a 20 gauge semi-auto shotgun (my father in law has one and I love it), one of those Norinco Lever Action 12 gauge shotguns, either a PPK/S or Bersa Thunder .380, Colt Defender, a good bolt action rifle (Remington Model 700, etc), and probably some variation of an AR-15. Now that list is not all inclusive, but is a good example of what I'd like to own at some point.
Random thought: "Shot my first so called "hot load" round out of my wife's cousin's Smith & Wesson 500 last week. That thing is a beast!" |
