New member & novice from Marietta, Georgia
Hello and thanks to all of you for allowing me to join your informative, interesting, and unfailingly entertaining forum. I have posted a few threads so far and I'm very impressed with the members' depth of knowledge, candor, and most of all their willingness to be helpful to others' needs. I am a firearms novice; I got interested in learning about them about 6 months ago and very recently took a firearms safety class at a local gun shop/firing range (NRA First Steps Pistol Orientation).
I am pondering my first firearms purchase and am planning to rent various handguns at the firing range to see what feels right for a CCW. Since I am so new to this - and I'm no kid; I'm 53 years old - I was thinking about some private instruction even though it is fairly expensive. I would like to follow and contribute to this forum and strive to be as helpful to others as I have found them to be to me. I live in Marietta, GA. |
