Greetings from Fayetteville, NC
For those who don't know me I am Jess “Doc” Aniol. I am currently in the Army and have been for 15 years, stationed at Ft. Bragg NC for the past 11. By trade I am a 68W2P Combat Medic, NCO, Airborne Qualified. I am currently on my second tour in the 82nd Airborne Division. My previous assignments have ranged from 7th Ranger Training Battalion (Desert Scorpions), 1/505 PIR 82nd ABN, Dco. 4th Bn 1st. SWTG(A), HHC 44th MEDCOM (PSD), 44th MEDCOM Medical Skills Academy and now 1/325 AIR 82nd ABN, and others. I have deployed 6 times in the past 15 years. My last three deployments (a little over three years in total) have been to Iraq. I am an accredited instructor in the Army as well as an EMT-I in North Carolina and an EMS Instructor at Fayetteville Tech Community College.
I have done just about every job in the Army that a medic is able to do, including Line Medic, Senior Line Medic, Scout Platoon Medic, Personal Security Detachment (Medic) for General Officers, 68W Instructor, Medical Training NCO, Convoy Security Medic and Evacuation Squad Leader. I am married to a great gal and have a 13 year old daughter. My spare time is occupied by range time, reading (shooting books, medical, survival/preparedness), preparing for the upcoming zombie invasion (the reason I give when asked why I have so many weapons), and working up to two part time jobs. To me weapons and shooting are a way of life, just as much as my skill as an Army Combat Medic and EMT-I. The more proficient I am, the more I can do for others in a time of need. "stoic- quiet professional and traveling soldier"

I used to live in Fayetteville on Bingham Dr. when I was stationed at Pope AFB. I spent quite a bit of time hanging around the 7th Group Special Forces when I worked with their commander (Major Mike Farrell) and we both worked part time at Cumberland Knife and Gun. I had a lot of fun there getting to shoot everything 7th group had in stock. Not many Air Force people got to mess around with Law Rockets, 203s, 106 recoilless rifles and many other smaller and very interesting weapons. I was there during the Regean years and times were good. I spent 8 years there and while I was mad when I got the asignment I enjoyed it greatly. Great fishing in frest water and salt water and great hunting over on Fort Bragg. Welcome aboard Doc.
