Hi

I guess i should introduce myself. I am a student in Ohio and a member of Students for concealed Campus. I carry a Glock 23 usually mexican style in condition 1 although sometimes i get nervous and go to condition 3. I took my CCW class when i was 20 so that i could start carrying right away when i turned 21. Now i am just looking for more information about CCW and the fight for our right do protect ourselves. If anyone has any information that will help me convince people in institutions of higher education that guns on campus will reduce crimes let me know.

Welcome to the forum.

A word of advice - please don't carry your Glock "mexican style". Use a proper holster that covers the trigger guard.

The chances of having an ND with a properly holstered firearm are far, far lower than when carrying with the trigger exposed.

And every ND story is just more ammo for the other side.

Matt

Welcome. As Matt said, a good holster is a good idea.

Welcome from Washington State. As far as I know, your "Students" organization is a good place to start in your search for information.

And even a $20 Uncle Mike's holster is going to help in the safety and retention aspect of your Glock.

Good luck, and, again, welcome to the forum.
