I'd do the OC WW walk with you, but I'm afraid the drive from Richmond would be a little much.

I'm not too awful far from Charlotte (hour and a half-ish) but being that I don't have my CWP, and I'm a resident of SC...Not sure how fond of me the LEOs in that neck of the woods would be of me. AFAIK SC residents have the castle doctrine and the "no retreat" laws in place, but I've read nothing about being able to openly carry.

All info I've obtained has been via: South Carolina Law Enforcement Division

If someone ascertains from that, that I am in fact allowed to open carry without a CWP, please let me know

You can open carry in NC w/o any permit, Teufle. Are you asking whether you can carry in our state w/o CWP, or yours?

Come and do an open wally walk with us! We don't have nachos, but there is a Subway. :)

Congrats Bunny on your 1st OC. I didn't know that NC was an OC state. I will have to remember that next time I am there.

BTW, I love your sig line "To err is human. To forgive, canine." lol :)

Anyhow, here's a pic -- you get the idea. (I think it isn't too big to be able to eventually CC.) Clearly, it's VERY OPEN here and there's no attempt at concealment. I am sure my mother would say this is not very ladylike.

Wow! Is Bunny single?

If we make it to the NRA convention next year in Charlotte we can have a bunny DC.com OC event, Bunny, Mr. Bunny, Bunny Jr., Mrs. GunnyBunny and I.

Anybody wanna puke yet?

OC is great. I go everywhere here doing so still waiting on my permit. I do get a lot of looks going for lunch in a crowded place and sometimes at Walmart and Target, but I'd be lying if I said I didn't enjoy it!

Bunny,

Congrats on your OC. Keep up the good work. If you are around the Fayetteville area, let me know and I'd be glad to OC with you, and your family. We should try to organize something for an NC OC picnic or something like that. Get up some numbers and do a function of some type.

Just an option.
