We've Gotten the legislature to vote for the change 2 years in a row

And it's been vetoed by our incomprehensible governor both times! Sadly, there weren't enough votes to override the veto, but we tried. He'll be gone soon. And it will happen.

Sounds like a good place. The guy in charge (spelling aside) manned up, took care of the situation, and is doing his best to apologize. Sounds like a win-win.

Sadly, we can't carry AT ALL here in NC where alcohol is both sold and consumed. Concealed, open, or otherwise. Hope that changes very soon as well. (But not holding my breath.)

WV has reciprocity with VA and I believe you can carry in places that serve alcohol with food here.

I was near Bland, VA not too long ago, going down I-77 to Wytheville. My dad's family is from the Rural Retreat area and we have a family reunion there each June.

This sounds like a "Happy Ending" and all involved went away satisfied.

Now go enjoy the food.

Might be a good idea to edit your first post to add the resolution in case some people don't read past the first page.
