Well I will get my Washington DL as soon as I am able, that will just give me another 30 days without being able to CC. My boss won't let me open carry at work, something about working in retail and keeping customers comfortable.

I did OC in a way this morning to get my blood test. I had my shirt tucked in and was carrying my Glock 36 in my MTAC. It was clearly visible. No one noticed except one of the nurse techs. All she said was "Wow, I had been debating whether to get a CPL and a 45, after looking at you I'm going to get myself one right now." I still have to test it at Starbucks after work. I lock it in the car safe when I'm at work since my work has a strict no firearms policy.

By law, the Kansas Attorney General must hold the application for 45-days minimum, 180-days maximum.

Current turn around time for new applications is 60 to 65 days. CHL law has not been in effect long enough for anyone needing to renew.

You don't need a Washington DL or Washington ID to get a Washington CPL. But without the Washington ID, the wait goes up to 60 days, unless you are military.

Well I should have gotten my DL a while ago anyway so this is a great reason to no longer put it off, that and the entire legal issue.

Yes, just go to opencarry.org and post in the Washington section what town and that you'd like to meet someone for lunch/dinner whatever. I am always open for a lunch or dinner, I'm on Whidbey Island.

Do you guys have a list of "Gotchas" in WA with regards to CC or OC? Some of them are obvious but others might not be. I just want to make sure that I am obeying the law while ignoring business who do not respect my right to carry, open or concealed.
