I OC'ed at a local Starbucks today for the first time. The place was packed. No one said anything but I noticed a few people staring at my gun. I had my G23 in a BH Serpa. I didnt stick around though, I got my coffee and headed out.

I really think its funny. Hope you now all continue to OC at that Starbucks, as you could get them used to it.

I wish they served refills, it would be a great place for our Cuss and Discuss sessions here in the Flathead Valley for our OC group.

But we could still do it

I one of the good guys. Great story.

But on an after thought would she have been relieved to find out they were bad guy's?

If You ever try coffee, don't start at Starbucks. It is like strong mud. Maybe I'm a light weight.

What a unique moment. Wish I could have been there to see it unfold.

Really appreciate what the officer said.

Sounds like a good place for an OpenCarry.org meeting. They will often meet in communities that are ignorant. Open carrying to help people over come their fear of seeing exposed guns. They recently had a picnic in a Kitsap county park with really good results.

This also sounds like a good place for you to OC help the lady adjust as it seems her fear is based upon not seeing guns carried by citizens. She may be totally ignorant about guns. Once she begins to see them as common attire on some folks her fears may subside. She may ask questions and become informed
