Pro2A, maybe that letter contains a certified apology? In the form of a very large gift certificate? :) (I'll keep fingers and paws here crossed for you.)

We can hope. If it's certified it must be something important... that could be good or bad. We'll see. I really dont see them certifying corporate policy

I'll let you know tomorrow.

The general manager responded back to my letter. She apologized and said she briefed the staff on corporate policy regarding firearms... she basically told them that there is no policy regarding open carry of firearms in their store, and to make sure this does not happen again.

I'll be sure to write her back thanking her, and possibly meet with her. I'm glad this went well, and will continue to take my business to Lowe's.

If I had a scanner I would. But long story short, she was pleasant and I will be taking my business back there now that the policy is crystal clear

I'm writing her a letter back to even arrange a meeting so she can see for her self us gun owners (carriers) are just normal regular people.

I've never seen a posting in front of the local Lowe's. I've never OC'd, though.

Excellent. I love a happy ending :) Glad to hear Lowes got on target (no pun intended) and resolved the issue!
