Let's clear this up.

Was it inside his pants, in an -actual holster-, but showing in plain sight?

OR

Was he "mexican carrying" with the gun just tucked into his pants, with no actual holster?

99.9%, if the guy was mexican carry, he was a street thug who was feeling brazen. No cop would carry in this manner, thats for the movies.

Anyone ever try carrying like this? It's impractical. You run, it falls out. Get in a scuffle, it falls out. Stand up in an awkward way and it falls out.

Maybe it was Plaxico Burress on his way to court!

def no holster. at his 1-2 o'clock

btw, did anyone find my post very hard to understand? I posted this on officer.com and there is a guy there that pretty much put me down as much as humanly possible about my grammar/punctuation. Granted its not perfect, but was it comprehensible?

You didnt express clearly enough the mode of carry that the subject in question was practicing. Aside from that you're fine. That guy probably has small penis syndrome.

this is what he said... they make it look like, as a brinks guard, i was going to tackle man down like an aggresive cop would lol... all I added on top of what I posted here was 'if I was LEO, I would have done this' people also said I was profiling. I was only explaining what the person looked like, they are the ones profiling from my description of what the person looked like!

I read your first post in this thread.

It comes off as if written by a 12 year old girl. If you want a serious big boy answer, try writing your question using close to proper grammar and punctuation. Otherwise... You are a security guard. Observe and report if there is something to report. Wondering what LEOs would do, does you no good. I also agree with the "reeks of profiling" as posted prior. Your profile appears to say you are looking toward a career in Law Enforcement. The first measure of that, is your ability to communicate in an efficient manner. The second is to never judge a book by its cover. In your first post... you failed. Based on that post, I wouldn't hire you to cut the grass around the barracks grounds.
