I live in West TN also, not as far west as you, but were close. Im glad to here your day was event free, although I would have thought living and OCing in the Memphis area that you would have some issues, guess I was wrong, and this time im glad I was. Take care brother, be safe and many more event free days to come for ya..

Im sure this has been discussed before...but when you go into malls (Wolfchase specifically) they have a list inside the door of about 15 "mall rules"...one of them says no firearms or weopons...is there a specif no firearms sign that has to be in place for it to be actually against the law?

I see this is an old thread, but I just wanted to add a +1 on the Lee Child Jack Reacher series. I just started Nothing to Lose. Michael Connolly's Harry Bosch novels are equally good.

As to the OC conversation, that was a cool experience. I am truly hoping Texas will go OC soon and as my wife and I are considering moving out of state if the right job comes along I'm looking at OC states as well. Talked to friend from NM today and he didn't know they were OC, he thought just CC.

Jack Reacher is the man. Just wish he would get a CC and stay out of communist states. Probably have to get an address first though.

He never seems to have any trouble finding a weapon. I think it was the first of the Reacher books I read where he found a street level drug sales operation and robbed them of their guns and money.

Good job

I wish I could get thrown out of all the malls so my wife would not drag me along. I hate shopping in malls, or anywhere else for that matter

I heard that 5 minutes after you left, the two pulled out their "concealed" guns and robbed the Orange Julius stand!

Seriously Mike, Good story! Glad you weren't hassled and glad the two guys seem to like their decision to move to TN! Good Job!
