We went out to eat at our favorite Mexican place Friday night. I open carried the two tone (silver slide black frame or as my Dad calls it, "The Pimp Gun") XD .40 service model on my right hip in the Blackhawk SERPA and a spare mag on my left hip.

The place isn't posted, no one said anything, no problems at all. They do still have the old sign up inside that says that TN law makes it a misdemeanor to knowingly carry a gun into a restaurant that serves alcoholl, which of course it was until the 14th of July. Now that sign is out dated and we can carry into establishments that serve alcohol.

They even seated us in the bar section of the place. At a table where I could honestly reach over and touch the bar. Still no problems.

We had a great dinner, left a good tip for our waitress and thanked the manager for a great experience as usual.

Another great OC excursion in Arlington Tennessee.

From past OC posts and this one, it sounds like you and your (P-Gun) are on a roll...
I was just in Nashville a couple of weeks ago, but saw no OC. I was too unsure the 'reception' I might get to try it.

Glad to hear it. I Open Carry every chance I get here in the 5th largest city in the US. I carry into all the stores, banks and non-alchoholic restaurants I can.

Can't wait till Sept 30 when we can at least CC into restaurants that serve alchohol. Although we can't drink.

I know exactly what you mean CAJUN.

Personally, I would rather live in the extreme East end of the state instead of the extreme West end where we do. Shelby and Davidson Counties (Memphis and Nashville) are the only two really solid left leaning liberal counties in Tennessee.

Besides, the mountains are a lot prettier than this end of the state.

Just wonder what you mean by "No OC in Nashville yet"?

BTW, I OC'd my G30 at Pie in the Sky on Friday the 7th on Lyle off of West End in Nashville. I also OC every day in the downtown, east Nashville and Hermitage areas of town without any incident.
