make it official by stopping in WW.

I have to tell yall something that I find rather funny. Not in a bad way, but I truly like when I read this on posts.

I was reading about a member who had just received his carry permit and he was so excited, the wait was finally over. Then the comment came up that all he needed to do now was make the WW trip. I have read this many times and I cant help but find my self amused when I read this.

I assure you im not poking fun at any of you, just letting yall know that I really enjoy reading post about that......

I can remember my first time CCing. I agree the WW walk is a good thing lots of people etc it really helps to ease that feeling that everyone sees it.

Wally World does get you to realize that most people are so self absorbed that they don't notice much of anything. That's why I'm not too concerned about people seeing any sign that I'm carrying a firearm. But, that walk does put you at ease.

Be safe!

Most states prohibit carrying in places that "serve" alcohol, not simply sell it. Unless your Walmart has a bar in it?

The WW Trek is fun for everyone. It gives new CCW'ers a goal for their first CC situation and an opportunity to submit a fancy report with lots of pics .
Then there is the very nice WW Trek Certificate that comes laminated and suitable for framing...I mean, how much more can a new 'carrier' ask for...

Keep taking those treks and posting the reports...

I'm confused. I thought the whole point of the WW walk is to carry openly, not concealed. If I understand correctly, WW corporate policy on firearms is to reflect state law, which means (at least in Washington) that they do not prohibit open carry, even if the sheep get spooked.

The idea of nobody noticing that you have a concealed weapon doesn't seem to be that big of a deal; after all, it's concealed. And there isn't anything significant about walking through WW with a concealed weapon since there are many stores that don't openly prohibit the possession of firearms on the premises.
