Nevada OC with KALI lisc?

i have read many places that people visit other states for vacay or what not and can or can not CCW or OC.

i will be going to VEGAS for some type of Biz trip/vacay.

my question is it legal to OC in nevada or even in Vegas being a non nevada lisc holder?

it would obviously be a difficult thing to do on the strip and since i dont know where the schools are i am just wondering if it is legal or not

OpenCarry.org - State Information For Nevada

Nevada is a traditional open carry state with complete state preemption of firearms laws. However, Clark County is grandfathered so as to continue a "Deadly Weapons" registration scheme. Fortunately, Nevada law exempts travelers to and through Nevada from these registration requirements for 60 days.

You may open carry in a vehicle. It must be clearly visible.

Yes it's legal. There are no laws specifying OC in NV. Just becareful OCing in the tourist areas. Some tourist will call the cops on you. I suggest OCing off the strip.

Though OC is legal in Nevda, OC on the Strip or downtown will bring you a confrontation w/ the police.
I certainly don't agree with it, just telling you how it is.

Security in virtually all casinos will ask you to leave for OC or even CC if they detect it.

I certainly woudn't recommend OC in North Las Vegas either.

OC is legal in NV but there's no way I would carry open within the city limits. Metro does not see this as "common place" and will make your "biz/vacay" a major problem for you. The desert is one thing but within the city, you're asking for trouble. Nevada does not honor California permits.

I agree that open carry on the strip or downtown is a very bad idea. It's legal, but you will end up with police confronting you, and it could go very badly. Also, don't open carry into a casino. You will be stopped by security and asked to leave. And since most casinos are also hotels, carrying in and out of your room will be difficult.

I always thought that Kali was a multi-armed demon-goddess of time not the person in charge of CCW issuance.

IOW, even if you live here, PLEASE stop dissing the State of California with childish name association games. If you can't change your attitude, MOVE AWAY and let those of us remaining get on with fixing the problems without your embarrassing disrespect.

Just remember, The Strip is technically not in Las Vegas. It is unincorporated Clark County. BUT....Metro Police is not only the city police, but county sheriff.
