If you have a good relationship, I might approach it obliquely. Ask him about his views of OC and 2a, and go from there. If he is friendly, you know what you have. If not, just say you were curious with the national debate going on and quietly CC.

I guess that's true.

I talked to the owner today, and I asked him his thoughts on the subject. He doesn't know the laws, and implied that it may be illegal to OC in a store that sells beer (not true. Only in a Class D establishment). I didn't attempt persuasion, only thanks for his time. I will comply with his request to only CC in his store.

I know that many of you may feel that I should have been more assertive, but I guess that I would say that I demonstrated "common courtesy" in asking. I think that I will drop by again sometime soon with a print-out of the KRS laws on the subject and just leave them for his perusal.

In the end, it's his store. I would expect the same courtesy in mine.

We'll see if my plan of "Applied Patience" pays off.

Thank you all for your advice and insight!

I would not do that on a bet. Either just OC or ask, but you did not pay for my opinion, so you might not like what ya get.

Good luck Z
