I'm unable to OC in Texas, although if it counts I OC at home on the weekends while doing the honey do's. I want OC in the front yard even though it is legal for me to do so. To many Sheeple in the neighborhood!

I OC everywhere....in the house, yard...on the lawn tractor. My wife was apprehensive at first because she had never seen anyone in our area OC even though it is allowed. I showed her on paper that it was and she was ok. I have 3 children. 2 boys 6 and 5 and a 1 year old girl. They dont even realize when I carry their so used to seeing it. I do CC carry as well when in certain situations.

If (now that I have my CCHP) it's just too hot out or whatever and I feel like OC'ing, it's a pretty even mix. If I'm running errands alone, then I OC alone. If hubby & I are heading to the gym, to lunch, etc, then it's "with spouse." And if all 3 of us are out doing whatever, then it's "whole family." Doesn't seem like it's one more than the other, necessarily.

My "family" consists of my girlfriend and her 13 year old daughter. They both think it's the responsible thing to do.

Can't OC in California (unless it's unloaded, and then, what's the point), but whenever I'm in Oregon or Nevada (where I can't CC), it comes out of concealment.

Wife will usually make some comment about holster choice and my kids are just so used to it that they don't think anything of it.

No OC in Florida.

But when I am up in GA, I OC while hunting and just don't cover it up when we go for provisions, ice, whatever on the way back to camp.

On the occasions where we truly go to town, I OC then as well. But then the camo doesn't disguise the gun. LOL

When in GA, I am with friends, my parents and I OC with whoever comes along. The cool thing is over the past year, I went from the "crazy 2A guy" that OC's to being one of 5 that OC's 24/7 up there. Seems that I rubbed off. Maybe crazy is contagious or they just needed someone to "prove" to them it really was alright.

A recent trip to the grocery store had 3 out of 5 of us OCing and to my knowledge not a peep from anyone.

Right now, just by myself but I also OC when I'm visiting my fiance in KY and will OC with her when we are married. At family gatherings I lightly conceal with just an overshirt or sport coat. I've never really tried to find out if it would be a problem with anyone but I think everyone knows I carry because at my cousin in law's house we always go in the backyard and shoot. Makes for extra fun holidays :D
