As has been noted many times, both CC and OC have pros and cons. Logic will tell you that if you are a criminal looking to do a robbery, you really want an easy target since this is a life or death situation for you. You aren't going to commit a crime with someone who is likely to resist and do it on equal footing. I agree with Axeanda that I'd like to see it documented that CC has an advantage over OC. Both have their good points. I would tell you that OC would more than likely deter a guy who is merely using a tool to rob someone. Most robbers never intend to use their pistol (and I don't have documents I can point to but I know and have seen studies where there have been many interviews done with convicts). A cold-hearted killer might have the stones to shoot but even he will think about risk and reward. I believe you do have an element of surprise with CC but you have deterrence with OC.

Maybe but you've made that point over and over. The horse is dead and the point was made. He lacks any foundation. Move on.
