My first day of OC. Just got my permit in the mail today!

It is finally here! I got my HCP today. I am so excited. It took exactly 41 days to get in may mailbox from the day I was finger printed. I went out for my first OC today and went to Wal-Mart and stopped by a gas station to fill up my truck. There was a LEO at the gas station flirting with the young lady working the cash register. He looked at me and my firearm (I was carrying a Kimber pro CDPII with a leather OWB holster) and said "Beautiful weather today isn't it" I replied "It sure is" I paid for my gas and went about my business. He didn't even acknowledge the fact that I was OC. And the same was true at Wal-Mart. Nobody paid any attention to the fact I was carrying. All in all I would have to say that my first day went as good as it possibly could have been. Just wanted to share my experiance and excitement of carry day #1.
