I don't wear t-shirts with four letter words on them. Does this mean I've given up part of my 1st Amendment rights?

There is only one gun law in this country, the 2nd Amendment. All else is bureaucratic nonsense that I choose to comply with or not at my discretion.

When governments make laws, they must consider the unintended consequences.

Who cares? I do.

I CC instead of OC for the same reason that I don't go to restaurants without my shirt on. There's no moral reason not to do so, it's in a legal gray area, but I see no need to go out of my way to offend people.

I care how they feel. It's not going to change the way I wear my gun, though. I will be happy to sit down with them and discuss the reasons for my choice, acknowledge that they have a differing opinion, and show them that I am just as much a lover of peace as they are and that is exactly the reason that I do carry my gun the way that I do.

Since you ask the question, then you should care. People vote. Hopefully if you carry responsibly people won't "feel bad". The Second Amendment does not require you to be polite or even handle a firearm in a safe manner, but you should be a responsible person.

I worry more about the Mall Ninjas than I do about bed wetters.

One I did see mentioned a few times is that other people are uncomfortable about an OCer.

IF you are knew to Open Carry dont care about how some sheep feels.

You are protecting yourself in the best way you see fit by the rights granted by the constitution.

Dont let some sheep rule your life.
I'm getting to the point now if they get snippy with me over it, I tell em' to go pound salt, mind their own business and then walk away.

It sounds like you're suggesting that OC is a profane or vulgar way to exercise one's right to bear arms.

At any rate, I don't think anyone is suggesting that you'll lose a right simply by failing to exercise it. But failing to exercise it has the natural effect of reducing one's willingness to fight for it. As in "why should I care about OC being outlawed; I don't OC anyway."

But after OC is outlawed, you can be sure that "printing" is next because rights are pulled away from people erosively. Personally I almost always CC but it has nothing to do with any imagined tactical advantage; but you can be sure I'll oppose any measure to remove or restrict OC as if they were going after a total ban.

Australia and the UK didn't disarm their citizens overnight, and no politician in the U.S. is dumb enough to try a gun ban blitzkrieg over here. Slow erosion is the key to success. It's the little infringements that have to be stopped.

I definitely care what the sheep think. I also think the strongest way to ensure gun rights are protected in this country is to convince as many people (voters) as possible of this - especially those on the other side of your political spectrum. (Or who would otherwise vote against 2A rights, for whatever reason)

The more people that agree guns are good, the better. It seems pretty simple to me.
