My SureFire E2e is a great light. I've tried some others, but 60 lumens works for me...I don't need a light to land aircraft in a field...just something for 'the darkness' and SD...it works for both.

I bought the Cabela's $20 LED/2 AA batteries a while back, but it doesn't work as well as my E2e...

I have replaced my 2D cell, and my 4D cell mags with LED bulbs and that made a big difference in the output of both mags...both are great lights...but neither can replace my pocket carry 'E2e'...

OMO

I was deciding between the E2D and the 6P Defender and decided to go with the 6P and the high output lamp. I'm glad I got it, they are definitely great flashlights.
