How is Bushnell?
I'm looking for a red dot sight for my M&P15A. I don't want to spend half of what the gun is worth on an optic. And I'm not going into battle. I was hoping on something that I could have had the option of magnification as well but I haven't found anything under $300. I've found the Bushnell 1x28 Trophy Red Dot for under $100 and it looks like it is good quality. Any experience with these or something better to suggest?

I use a Bushnell trophy on my Ruger 22/45 but also use a coupla Millet Red Dots on my SRH's ... those are still probably not too far removed from the $100 price and IMO are nice units. Good value.
Those are 1" ...... but my Bushnell is a 30mm. So some of the decision may be influenced by available rings and mounts. Here is the 22/45 and one of the SRH's ......... ![]() ![]()
