Anyone wearing gloves ?

While handling other peoples guns.

either to keep from getting greasy or oily off the gun, or to keep your body acids and oils off of their gun.

Perhaps it being over cautious , I am thinking of a brown cotton glove , just to minimize the exchange of fluids.

I have, on occasion, busted out the cotton gloves when handling valuable and sensitive items, as well as anything silver or silver plated. Cameras and optics, firearms worth more than my car, and 80 year old trumpets all deserve special care. If you want a good, cheap set of gloves to suit this purpose, stop by your local large music store and buy a set of marching band gloves. They'll run you anywhere from $3 to $6 or so, but are well worth having around.

I don't, i do have a old rag that I wipe off finger prints with. I have never has an issue with my prints causing rust but I always wipe the guns clean before they go into the safe. I also use gun socks to store the guns in while they sleep in the safe.
