IDPA Mag Pouches
Can anyone point me in the right direction for IDPA approved mag pouches and other IDPA equipment? Preferrably in kydex. Thanks y'all.

I could not get both sides to have the same retention, since the only adjustment is a center tension screw. If the front holder was "just right" the rear was sloppy and if the rear was good, the front was to tight. I used contact cement to glue a thin plastic insert into the rear holder, so now both have about the same tension. It took a bit of trial and error sanding on the insert to get it to the proper thickness. Should have been a better fit for the $44 I paid.  Suggest getting two single mag holders or ensure that each holder is adjustable separately if you get a dual holder.

I use a cheep (was less than $20) Fobus that is no where near as cool looking as the one above, and I have just been using the free XD gear Mag pouch.
Works well for me. |

This guy on eBay sells Kydex mags for around $20. I have two sets one each for my Kahr and my Glock 26. I also had him make me a "custom" double mag pouch for my Kahr. All are pretty darn ice and do the job well. I also have seen him on the Glock talk website. Give him a try.

Ed,
I like the looks of those. Do you by chance, have his email address? I would like to get a double mag holder and a mag/tac light holder combo. thanks, Eric

Will have to agree with the Fobus for someone starting...just remember to use the paddle versions as their the only ones approved. Blade Tech is what I use, but for someone just starting, go with the Fobus and spend the extra money on practice ammo.
