Lehigh man accused of impersonating a police officer
June 20, 2005 A Lehigh Acres man was arrested after a hit-and-run crash – where deputies say he pretended to be a law enforcement officer. John Ardolino is charged with impersonating a law enforcement officer and aggravated assault. Deputies investigating a traffic accident Saturday night found Ardolino carrying a gun and a badge reading concealed weapons license holder. The other driver said Ardolino caused the crash, pointed a gun at him, and held up a badge. |
