If I'm going to be gone all day, or am leaving the house after 3pm or so, I always carry a light.
To work and back, or running down to Lowe's or something, I usually don't (other than a Photon Freedom Microlight on my keychain). |

I have noticed there is a lot of those Cree LED's on ebay now. What is the story with them and are they all just cheap knockoffs from china?

On duty (LEO) I carry a Surefire G2 LED with a Surefire E2E as a back up. I also keep a 3D Maglight in the bag on my passenger seat while working.
Off-duty I carry just the Surefire E2E. I also have a Streamlight rechargable in my personal vehicle and several flashlights throughout my house.

This one is my favorite...
![]() It run's on two AAs. My profession requires that I have plenty of rechargable AAs on hand, so it works well for me. I also like the Brinkman Maxfire, but it costs more to power so I don't use it often. |
