Interesting info about SF batts and who makes them: http://www.m4carbine.net/showthread.php?t=9454

We offer DC members discounts on SF lights, rails and suppressors. Drop us a line for member pricing.

I'm curious, I see you state that SF batteries are made by Panasonic but, I don't see where you got the info.

From my point of view (and I mean no disrespect, just telling what it looks like) you state that more expensive batteries are made by a cheaper company that you are now selling. That would be a great sells pitch for something that you could mark up more than the SF batteries. Again, I mean no disrespect, I just like to have proof of that what I am reading is correct. Expecially since I have read before on CPF that Surefire and Energizer have ALOT in common including capacity, and discharge curve.

My info comes from two sources. A SF employee and a VERY large battery Distr in the US.

Why would you ASSume that the Panasonic battery are cheaper or that Panasonic is a "cheaper" company?

The Panasonic batteries are also much cheaper than the SF batteries. Remember that I also sell SF batteries. So if your theory is correct, why would I push a cheaper battery when I could actually make more on the SF battery???

Panasonic batteries are also one of the VERY few CR123A's that have a 1550mAh capacity. So any way you slice it, the Panasonic battery is offers the best output of any CR123A battery on the market.

If you don't believe me, that is fine. Please continue to buy the more expensive SF battery. As a Flashlight junky and battery consumer, I am just trying to educate my fellow shooters about a cheaper battery that is equal to and or better than SF's battery.

Lowe's in Memphis has Coast flashlights for $30. Not bad at all.

I get all of my lights, batteries, etc. from these guys: http://www.batterystation.com/

They have good prices, great customer service and they are fellow gun enthusiasts. What more could you ask for?

Got a Coast 3 3/4" long, 23 Lumen model at Lowes a few weeks ago for $30. Has 5 LED white lights and a single red LED to maintain night vision, and is plenty bright for casual use (blows away the $5 LED lights my roommate got at PepBoys recently). I really liked it, and went back and bought a couple more as gifts for some friends, along with the 65 Lumen model for myself (it was $50, but that was less than half the price of the equivalent Surefire I had my eye on).
Another nice thing is that they all use regular AAA bateries, and not the Lithiums.

My only problem is that Coast has a 'special offer' if you go to thier website to get a free keychain light, but not until after you give them your name and address do they tell you that there's a $3.50 s/h charge.

The bums. Don't they know that customers have some sense of dignity and resent being violated?

Sorry I offended you. I seriously meant no dissrespect. I ASSumed (as you so eliquently put it) that Panasonic is a cheaper battery because......they are. They cost less than other brands......I never said that Panasonic is a cheap company. Like Winchester (also not a cheap company) and thier knives. Winchester doesn't make thier own knives and they are not on the same level as thier firearms in quality. Panasonic does not make batteries. I never meant anything about Panasonic as a company, only thier battiers. I did a bit of research and found that they are most likely made by the same company that makes Surefire. Infact they perform allmost identically to SF. Take a look as a Runtime Chart that someone on CPF did.

Again, I meant no dissrespect. I was just curious. After all, this is the internet and when someone makes claims with out actually backing them up, I tend to question it.

PS, I would have responded to this thread sooner but a week without power kinda made things hectic.
