Stack-On Gun Safes

A distributor in my area is offering Stack-On Gun Safes to our local police officers at a pretty discounted price and I have the option of adding one to the order. Does anyone here have experience with the Stack-On Safes (not the locking cabinets but the safes)?

Like this one for a discounted price of $857

or

this one for a discounted price of $1,300.

Looking for opinions, good or bad.

I sell them, and I wouldn't buy one. At the prices listed you can get a good browning or other high end safe with the same storage.

You get what you pay for... for the best safe on the market IMHO go to Sportsman Safes!

In terms of quality - size - cost. Does not need to be fancy dan just does the job assigned and will last for a long time (hopefully trouble free).

What are the top five gun safe companies - ranked 1 to 5 ?

Why these companies or their safes ?

Customer service issues, warranty on locks/bars (which seemed to be the most things that go wrong with safes (?) ).

I have one too, and like it just fine. I keep it in my workshop, but I paid way less than that for it. I have a large and much nicer Heritage safe for long term storage.

As long as you understand what it is and isnt, you'll be OK.

So many of you either by posting here or by PM have indicated that I can buy a better made safe at these prices. Try as I amy I have yet to find a 60 gun safe in the $1300range, a 45 gun safe in the $970 range or a 36 gun safe in the $800 range. I must not be looking in the right places. Does anyone know a specific place where I can find safes of this size in a price range even close to the ones I am listing?

Big E, not sure how close you are to rocklin, but if its not a huge haul call up there and talk to someone in the hunting department about the 999.99 yukon gold. If I remember right its 36 gun safe (might even be bigger) but they sell them only at sportsman's warehouse. They are made by browning. The number is Tel: (916) 782-9900
