I just got a 6PL and I love it! Very bright. Has a night bright 'spot' in the middle of it's beam but also has a somewhat dimmer wide spot around it's central beam. If that makes any sense. Anyway, it lights up the whole room but still has a night tight center spot. At 80 lumens this thing is bright! And at 11 hours of run time it should last you quite a while. My vote goes for the 6PL! Best of luck in what you decide!

I would say get the Z2 then add the Surefire LED unit for $40ish when you can or get a Cree unit to put it. I love the LED Surefires.
