I have a security box from aries automotive that can be locked and then locked into a bracket mounted into the vehicle.
Aries Automotive - Security Lock Box
It is very nicely made and may be big enough for 2 guns if they're not too big.

That looks like a good option too. The two guns would most likely be a Glock 19 and a S&W 642. It looks like they should fit just from a quick glance. I will have to give the dimensions a better look. Thanks for the link! And thanks for all the input so far guys!

I have a tuffy center console in my jeep that I trust my guns in if i have to lock them up in the car. They make some great products that might fit in yor vehicle.

These things are great. I keep one in each vehicle. The 1911 often gets locked up in one during the summer while I'm running around with the P3AT in my shorts. I figure that the little gun will give me enough firepower to get to my vehicle to bring the 1911 into the fight.

I've got one of those I bought from Sportsman's Guide for about the same price as Midway. It's convenient for a smaller gun (like my Springfield Loaded Champion) and an extra mag. The box is really secure, but I had to add a layer of foam since the stuff it comes with is flat and very thin and wouldn't prevent the mag from sliding around and getting damaged and/or nicking the finish on the piece.

For my truck I made one out of an old military ammo box.
Bolted/ JB Welded a quality hasp on.
Attached with a heavy cable,
Secured with a quality lock,
hidden under the seat.

for my cars:

I used to do the same thing when I was on active duty. The MiniVault from GunVault was easy for me to carry in and out of my truck with no hassle; and with the no-look key pad, opening and closing it was easy to do while driving pass the main gate - no keys/numbers to press, just press by feel and toss/remove your gun. Do get the cable lock they offer, since you won't be screwing it to your vehicle's bed. The MiniVault will fit neatly under the fold down seats on most pickup trucks / rear passenger seats of trucks; however, make sure you read up the rules as to where you can/can't place the lockbox - someplaces it has to be in the vehicle's trunk, others can be inside the vehicle's cabin.
