My ammo goes to the range with me in an ammo can. I've used an athletic type bag for a while, but have a mil-surplus carry bag now. What goes in it? Eye and ear protection, the bore snakes, scewdrivers (one phillips, and one flat blade), small key set of allen wrenches, sight adjustment tools for the particular arms, bottle of CLP, Otis cleaning kit (complete), couple of old shirt rags, ziploc freezer bag(s) {for used brass}, basic first-aid kit, the pistols and extra mags. I keep the toilet paper in the truck.

+1 for the Midway range bag. This bag is a good buy at $59.99 but is on sale through March for $39.99 which makes it a GREAT buy. I've seen bags that I swear are identical to this bag and selling for $100+. As soon as my daughter looked at mine, she ordered one for herself. You won't be disappointed.

With all that gear... maybe you should be shopping for a truck?

Seriously, here's another Range Bags worth looking at: CEDHK - CED Professional Range Bag

A tool bag from Home Depot makes a great range bag. They come in a variety of sizes, have lots of pockets, are heavily made and generally cost less than those sold as "range bags".

I use the 5.11 range bag. 5.11 Range Ready Bag

I got it on sale for $80. It looks similar to the others people posted here, but I suspect if we were to do a side by side comparison, the nylon would be heavier and it would just be of higher quality.

It holds just about everything I need. Very happy with it.

My friend uses one of these for the range. It's nice for ammo, pistols, safety protection, staple gun and staples and anything else you might put in a range bag. It's nice to have a hard shell box when digging around looking for stuff too..

I also purchased the Midway Range Bag and it is quite the bag at a nice price.
At first I thought it was a little too big until I started stuffing it with 3 guns, 11 mags, the shooting gear, a couple boxes of ammo and speedloader.
