Costco and BJs sell nice Hawaiian shirts - about $20. Yup we wear them here. Nobody gives us a second look.

Around here, Hawaiian shirts are almost formal wear, acceptable and commonly worn nearly anywhere, regardless of age. And no black sox are required. Heck, the only sox I own are for cold weather hunting.

There is only one gun law in this country, the 2nd Amendment. All else is bureaucratic nonsense that I choose to comply with or not at my discretion.

As suggested, Kohl's is a good place to shop. I like discount stores like Marshall's and TJ Maxx; my husband I will find name brand clothes cheaper there.

Don't forget that the tax-free weekend is April 25-27.

I have been looking at the safari shirts and camp shirts from Cabelas. I am going to try a couple of these in the next couple of weeks.

Geez! Where is your sense of humor?

Personally I love wearing loud shirts and maintaining an "Aloha" mindset. Here in AL lots of folks wear camo of one flavor or another. I choose Hawaiian camo.

I'm tall and heavy - okay, fat. Being 6'4" and blond I already stand out in, or over, a crowd. Add my booming voice - my wife says that I am incapable of a whisper - I am already quite noticeable.

Who really questions the jolly fat guy in a loud print shirt? Who suspects the guy is armed? To my knowledge, I have never been made while wearing a loud shirt.

Talking

I'm over 60, retired and live in Florida. Ergo, I can wear any bloody thing I want.
For the most gaudy Hawaiian shirts, try my favorite haberdasher: Walgreen Pharmacy!
They have the tackiest shirts in all of Florida (and that's sayin' somethin'). And, they are only $10!

So there are only two choices: Don Knotts or Lawrence of Arabia?

But, seriously, Field and Stream are nice too. The bottom front corners of the shirt hold two nickels well.

If you're over 60, remember to wear black or navy blue dress socks and Oxford or wing tip shoes with your Hawaiian shirt (standard dress code for Miami Beach ), and nobody will take a second look!
