90 Lumens ... kewl, I do have a Surefire, but I am also a flashlight nut. I will also be checking out that model on my next visit, you can't beat the price, thanks for the heads up.

Well 4 trips to the local Wally World not flashlight. They have the 45 lum one but every time the 85 is sold out. May look at the Cabelas one instead

My Surefire 6p has been riding the pine ever since I bought my Rayovac. The Rayovac is plenty bright, the batteries are so much cheaper that I can actually afford to USE the flashlight, and it is much thinner than the 6P and has a clip for your pocket.

I highly recommend it!

Let's not get too carried away here. This light is no more than 60 lumens. Plus the beam is a tinge blue/purple, so you don't get really good color rendition and the light doesn't appear to go as far (short-wave color).

Gun control can be blamed in part for allowing 9/11 to happen.

I've seen a few folks mention that the beam is adjustable. Can't remember if my packaging said that, but mine must be permeated with Loctite, cause it won't budge a bit. Anybody else have this problem?

Leatherman light.....

I have been reading this forum for awhile, but this is my first post.

I found a tactical light at Costco that is called the Leatherman Monarch 500. It runs on 3 AAA batteries and claims 145 lumen. Reviews on other forums seem to be very positive. It has some sort of cree LED and is made from stainless steel. The best part is that it only cost $30. The bad part is that it appears to only be available from Costco and usually once they are out, they are out. My local store had maybe 50 lights left last week.

Seems to be a great deal for tactical lights.
