Source for PPK/S grips

The plastic grips on my PPK/S have developed a crack. I screwed them down too tightly.

Would anyone know of a source for replacement grips that will fit the S&W version of the Walther PPK/S? I'm looking for anything plastic, wood, or rubber.

Hogue makes wood stocks for the PPK and PPK/S.

Hogue Wood Grips - Walther- PPK/s and PP

Pachmayr makes the rubber style.

Ditto Captain Crunch on the Hogue.....hummmm...which exotic wood from Hogue??? Checkered Cocobolo.

A tad bit expensive but, Dang! would they sweeten up yer gun.

Remember that the Walther PPK/S and Walther PP grips are the same.

The Walther PPK grips are different.

Thanks for info. The Pachmayr grips I like, but won't fit the S&W PPK/s according to Midway.

I ordered a pair of Rosewood Hogue wood grips some months back and got them a few weeks ago. I'm disappointed. The finish is not well applied, spots were missed. Worse, the hammer binds with the grips installed. Midway won't accept a return on special order items. :(

Any other ideas?

Call Hogue directly.

They have a 100% satasfaction guarantee.

No questions asked.

Stay away from the Rosewood on grips that require a lot of thinning and complicated fit work.

Rosewood is great for something like a 1911 but, not for complex grips.

That is not Hogues fault.

Rosewood tends to warp or bow when it is thinned too much.

Get the Kingwood or Cocobolo. It's just as pretty grain wise.
I really like the Kingwood - it's absolutely perfect grip wood and the same hardness as Rosewood.

The Cocobolo is also hard to beat and is much more stable than Rosewood.

Tell Hogue that you want some other wood beside Rosewood.

They will accomodate you and let you pick something else.

If you call them and they won't replace your grips them shoot me a PM and I will help you get a brand new set of grips from them.

They sell grips (based on current availability) that have slight imperfections or that are especially nice, in their eyes. I'm certain that the especially nice ones are just that, but I own several of their "imperfect" grips that, honestly, I cannot see what is wrong with them. Check them out!

As a matter of fact, my Interarms PPK/S has a set of nice CocoBolo grips on them from Hogue Auction; I think I paid $29.99 for them....
