Gadget salesmen's ideas :--

One wonders if they just don't understand that keeping it simple can make the difference between a slow or fast draw; life and death. Gadgets provide opportunity for snags, require special rigs, add weight.

I'm not LEO, and I don't play one on TV, but I can put myself in someone else's position and imagine being there. No gun sight camera for LEOs or for non-LEO
CCW. You know, if this one went over in the LEO community, someone would invent the 30 second circular loop video recorder for personal use, and lawmakers would expect us ordinary folks to get these gadgets too. BAD IDEA.

Wow, great idea so long as it does not impede LEO's use of weapon in any way. If it functions easily and does NOT hinder LEO in any way, shape or manner; then this should be mandatory IMO.....

However, it's too bulky in its present configuration. Perhaps it could be built right into the gun.

Its a horrible idea because it only offers one very very narrow point of view of the situation, nothing about leading up to the tasing/shooting etc. With people watching things on TV and thinking its gospel, its a diaster waiting to happen.

One huge is that even though it might show the knife wielding thug running at you...it is also going to show him actually getting shot and possibly recording for eternity his head exploding.
Which could absolutely backfire on the good guy shooter if/when viewed by a jury.

I would carry it right along with my concealed carry badge....not! That is such a bad idea for many of the same reasons stated above. I could only see that working in favor of the the prosecution.
