Yep, try the Novak mags also and see if they function well for you.
Good addition. and enigmaone...The guy is just wanting some friendly educated advice. He never said..."I don't think my life is worth much so...where can I buy cheap magazines?" ![]()

I've owned Sigs since 1991 and only trust Sig mags. They use Mec-Gars today; but their version carries carries 1 less round.

MecGar makes the mags for Sig. And the MecGars I have hold 2 more rounds than the "Sig" mags. And they cost less. I have not seen any functional or appearance difference between the two. I have one Pro-Mag that works, but it rattles.

I kept seeing a lot of reference to either Mec-Gar or Novak so I checked their web sites. The models they offer mags for are:
Novak -- 220 Mec-Gar -- 226, 228 ProMag -- 210, 220, 225, 226, 228, 229, 230, 245 Other than these, looks like the only choice is from Sig. Hoss

I'd stick with the SIG magazines too, in fact I do!
I get mine from Top Gun Supply and just pick one or two up as I can scrape together a little loot. ![]()

ACT and Novaks work well for 220's. Think there was some kinda agreement why there are no Novaks for the double stack 229/228/226.
Mec-gar works for me. ProMags-I have not been so fortunate. Bad mama jammers...
