AR15 Mag Chest Rigs or Vests

Question folks, I recently purchased an AR15 and would like to get a simple, minimal chest rig or vest to hold 3-4 mags for when I go to the range, take a hike, or in case I would ever need to go into a defensive mode.

I'd seen 1000's of vests of every description and most of them are TOO much for a guy like me and my needs. I did find a small chest rig called a mini-mav by Tactical Tailor that seem perfect as it holds 3 30 round mags close to the chest, however, they no longer sell them. I did find one guy on Ebay selling them but it would put the combined cost (the chest rig + the seperate 3 mag pouch) at nearly $100 with shipping.

I've looked at belt rigs but haven't found anything either.

Have any of you found a simple, minimalist type chest or belt rig to hold a few 30 rounders? If so I'd love to hear your solution.

There's a place near me that gives AR15 training and i'd like to take a class just for fun but they require a vest of some kind.

So what do you use?
Thanks in advance for your time!

I used this chest rig from SKD in a carbine class a couple weeks ago. Worked well and at $79 didn't break the bank. 3 of us in the class had them and they've gotten pretty good reviews from what I've read. It will hold up to 8 AR mags and 4 pistol mags.

Eagle gear is top shelf, and SKD Tactical is a good vendor to deal with. They offer several options, along with the one already posted:
CHEST RIGS

Diamondback Tactical has some good kit at decent price points:
Battlelab Tactical Racks - Diamondback Tactical

I've used both and can report being a satisfied customer.

Be careful when using a pistol while wearing a chest rig.

Saw a guy shoot himself in the leg doing that.

Honestly, for occasional use a vest or chest rig from Cheaperthandirt or a similar inexpensive rig should be fine.

I'm curous, how did the presence of the chest rig contribute to the shooting?

If this is the incident up at Suarez, wasn't it the shooter's own fault for a) flagging himself with the muzzle, and b) having his finger on the trigger?
