If you want a seriously powerful flashlight, check out this thread. How long have you had your Borealis?

I've had one of these for just over a year and it has been reliable to this point and on turbo (180 Lumens) it is exceptionally bright. The thing that made me choose this one was that it uses standard AA batteries. Put it on strobe and it would disorient the heck out of someone.

What is your price range, and what do you want from the flashlight?

Gun control can be blamed in part for allowing 9/11 to happen.

For how long on one set or charge of batteries? Is this for household use, roadside emergencies, or just showing off? Do you intend to carry this light with you daily? Will it need to be ready at a moment's notice? Do you want the beam to be a bright focused spot, or a wall of light?

These are many of the questions that we need answers to in order to point you in the right direction!
