There are two things I like about the Arcturus though that I haven't been able to find with a few others. I may not be looking hard enough as well... I like the strobe function and the end of it is designed so it would be used as a defensive weapon/blunt object. Any input or other options to look for/at? Thanks!

Well folks, I got the S&W light today... seems to be very well constructed and bright. IDPA match tomorrow so I may have a chance to 'test drive' it. Either way, nice light for $39 shipped.

Have not tried it, no. But from what I have read, the Arcturus is just the rechargable version of the Typhoon (slightly lower max output, but all the functions seems to be the same), and the Typhoon is essentially an updated Gladius.

Good enough for me. I am going to get an Arcturus as soon as I find one in stock somewhere!
