You could probably make your own out of 6" pvc and some fittings. Just an idea.

As RamRod suggested.
Take a 6" PVC end cap, solvent weld that to one end of a 4 foot piece of 6" PVC. Solvent weld a female threaded adapter to the other end of the piece of 6" pipe. Put some Teflon plumbers tape on the threads of a 6" male end-cap and thread into the female adapter on the end of the pipe. Voila, reasonably inexpensive waterproof gun storage cylinder ![]() Remember to keep PVC out of direct sunlight and freezing temperatures. Use ABS pipe instead of you need temperature resistance. Peace, Pete Zaria.

105mm Howitzer canisters work well for shotguns and such.

i hadn't thought of the howitzer canisters, think there might be one at the surplus place down the road... have to check on that...
i saw some fishing rod cases over the weekend that got me thinking that way but they seemed either too long or too narrow... i'm gonna run to HD or Lowes this weekend and look at the PVC... |
