I'm sure you'd also see the point if you did a job that did not create callouses on your thumbs, then went to the range to shoot 200 rounds, or some training to shoot 1000 rounds, out of 6 round single-stack magazines that have feed-lips like razor blades.

I bought mine after slicing through my thumb twice. I need to not have cuts on my thumb every week. This thing is awesome!

I bought one but then I seem to buy one of about everything. I do like it for loading up magazines on the range. Handy tool if you're shooting autoloaders.

I have one that I use everytime that I go to the range. Works GREAT!!!!!! Cuts down on magazine reloading time and saves the thumb at the same time.

Best investment that I have made in some time. Even my wife will reload magazines now!!!

I don't use it for 1911 mags...but I LOVE it for my AR15s

Mine seems to hang up on my 1911 mags but works fine on everything else, including my .380 PPK mags... really confusing but it seems the channel for the single stack mag is maybe just a tad too narrow. I do love the thing for my G19 mags though. I'll probably get the MagLula for ARs soon as well.

I bought one specifically for 600-1000rd training weekends and couldn't have been more pleased. It sure saved some wear and tear on my fingers, and my training buddy's too.

Might be something wrong with yours Maclean. Mine works great with 1911 mags.
