Wow, just the kind of pictures I wanted. I didn't know you were a colleague. Maybe that's why you realized what kind of pictures I needed. To see at a distance and to light up a car.

I really appreciate you took the time to take those pictures.

The E2DL suppose to have 120 lumen and the EX10 should have 130 lumen. But I think that your picture shows that your E2DL has the stronger output.

Thanks a lot!!!

I'm not, that's my brother in law's cruiser. He lives next door. :) The E2DL's beam is focused by an optical lens to have much stronger throw with a much weaker area beam (spill). The EX10 uses a reflector, and produces the opposite type of beam - strong spill, weaker throw.

So your sister married the neighbour? :-)

I just found out that the Fenix P2D and the Jet Pro-III doesn't offer a tactical clickie. That leaves the Nitecore extreme. But I also thinking of Surefire G2 or a Surefire E1B that is converted to a higher beam with more flood. But that costs money.

Maybe the Nitecore Extreme is what I'm looking for. High output with some flood in the beam.

I use a little LED light I got at Home Depot for $30 (I think). Its about 4 inches long and 1 inch diameter. Metal case, and very bright (I think it said "3 Watt") and the no-name brand is "LED Lenser". Its bright enough to blind someone temporarily at night, and it easily lights up object about 50ft away.

It runs off 3 AAA batteries.

Nah, my wife's brother is a cop. I don't think you can go wrong with the Nitecore - it gives you a LOT of light for the money. If you ever decide to get a more expensive, powerful, possibly custom light down the line, it will also be a great backup light.

I'll see if I have any, its the exact same color as your 3. I love the metal fleck paint, it really makes the speed series stand out.

Sounds like the Nitecore Extreme is what I'm looking for right now.

I have a Pila G3R right now (130 lumen). Unforuntaly it's a little to big. I can take some picture to compare them when I get my new light.

Thanks for the help Chooie!
