I tried the shooting star mags. Maclean, you shooting HP's?

I took mine to the range today, it functioned great both w/ HP & FMJ. No failures after 100 rounds but more testing is required. I used the CMC 8 rd. Power Mags. I believe it was the wilson bullet proof slide stop, not a cheap fix. My wilson mags still will not lock the slide back, only SA & CMC's.

Glad you got yours to work, will have to see what SA does with my gun and try the CM mags again. You sure have good taste in guns, BTW.

Yep, ran both FMJ and HP in my Champion. Everything from Hydrashocks to SXT and Hornady (XTS?). Might try Wolff spring replacements and see if that helps any.

I was contemplating this but for now all is running well. I only hope Rocky will have the same result as I did after getting it back from SA.
