Gerber lights

Has anyone tried or used Gerber flashlights? I like their knives, not top shelf perhaps but a good deal for the money IMO. I'm specifically looking at :

I have one of the mini Recon ( the one in the second link) It is a real handy light & with the rotating bezel for the different lens colors is really a cool option. I use it around the house but it just isnt powerful enuf to use as a tactical light , For that I use a SureFire E2D. The gerber is no brighter then a Mini MagLight for comparison
